Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane filtration technology that falls between
reverse osmosis and micro filtration in terms of the size of particles removed.
UF is an energy efficient method to remove most particles, pyrogens, microorganisms,
and colloids in the 0.002 to 0.1 micron range.
